Identity Defined Security Alliance has been declared open and will be taking place in three regions on April 8.

It is said to be a 21-hour summit that will connect participants from other regions and will instill Security Management in them. Based on the highlights, this event will delve into Artificial Intelligence (AI) based identities, banking identities, and security identities. It has already sparked conversations since the day of the announcement on 27th March 2025.

Identity security is a hot topic in the digital identity management space, with several platforms, including gaming sites, taking steps to protect users. Given that most people tend to repeat their passwords, these sites now incorporate identity management solutions like Inclave to allow users to use strong passwords without having to remember them. This is why several privacy-conscious sites now have Inclave to simplify user experience. One of the aims of this event is that many more platforms will take identity security seriously.

Several topics will be discussed during the virtual event, and participants will have the privilege to connect with professional experts and access to first-time solutions from experts and also unlimited access to new tools and strategies that will enhance their organization’s security posture.

The theme of this year’s event is “Existential Identity”. Other exciting topics will be looked into in the cause of the panel discussion, topics like dealing with existential identity, Engagement for stakeholders for DORA and NiS2 Compliance and Emerging Technologies, AI, Natural Language, and Machine learning.

Henrique Teixeira, Senior Vice President of Strategy at Saviynt and former Gartner Analyst, in conjunction with National Cybersecurity Alliance ( NCA ), will be anchoring the keynote, and he will be speaking on provocative topics alongside other experts like Ian Sorbello and Anders Askasen.

Identity Defined Security Alliance (IDSA) has a vision of educating organizations and the general public on the need to take precautions against poor security identity and therefore hold its event on the second week of April every year. In a report highlighting its 2024 edition, 82 countries were represented with 620 attendees, of which 33% were key decision-makers in their organizations or were influencers in the industry.

Identity Security Management Day has also allowed offering awards to leaders and organizations that effectively prioritize identity security as an integral component of their mission.

The 2025 Identity Management Awards will applaud outstanding contributions in various spheres, including new innovative technologies. This will recognize industries that are taking advantage of emerging technologies like GPT 4o, generative AI, machine learning, artificial intelligence, etc. Individuals who have created awareness in their communities about identity best practices and poor identity hygiene will also receive recognition. Furthermore, there will be recognition for leaders who advocate for cyber security in their industry.
